FAIR TRADE

We plan to create a Fair-Trade process to give food production workers the quality of life they deserve. One of the benefits that employees would receive is a housing subsidy at the South Royalton House as part of their benefits package. Housing in Vermont is one of the main issues food industry employees suffer the most. Typical wages in this industry don’t equate with housing costs in the Upper Valley and this is our way of making it more equitable.

We will open our hub-kitchen processing space to farms that need to process their value-added products and give them support in packaging, branding and distributing.
